(Most of the series films in Los Angeles, CA, but they come to Pittsburgh to film some scenes over a few days. This opportunity is for the Pittsburgh Area)

*Extras Casting is seeking paid non-union background actors for SEASON 3 of "THE PITT" (Pittsburgh Unit) in the Greater Pittsburgh Region and surrounding areas!
Most of our roles on this will be for 18+years or older. Anyone is of course welcome to apply.
DOCTOR/NURSE/MED TECH TYPES-EMTS - PATIENTS - VISITORS
PEDESTRIANS - PEOPLE ON BIKES, ELECTRIC SCOOTERS, W/DOGS-JOGGERS
PEOPLE WITH CARS (NO YELLOW OR RED)
CONSTRUCTION WORKERS
PRECISION DRIVERS

PAYRATE:
250/12 for General Background Actors for the day + overtime if you exceed a 12 hour day
*We will be looking for folks who can join us for multiple days - and looking for people who could work 1- day.

NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY
We do work 10-14 hour days, sometimes shorter... You will need FULL DAY AVAILABILITY on days you are selected to work. If you cannot clear your day to work, then please do not commit to working. We mostly work Monday - Friday. Kids will only work within the hours permitted by the State Labor Laws.
Just a friendly reminder - that any and all background work is not contracted or guaranteed work.
There is no guarantee of work because the needs of productions change every day. Unfortunately just like we cannot penalize you for cancelling - we cannot be held accountable when production schedules shift or change.

SPECIALTY DIRECTOR SELECTS

The following roles will be priority and selected well in advance by the director, and will take place on 10/28. If picked, you cannot have any prior commitments, appointments, jobs, or other obligations that would interfere with your ability to report to set at any time on 10/28.
CITY WORKERS (MALE) , POLICE TYPES, BUREAU TYPES:
Police types who are male should be willing to shave if needed.
No visible face or neck tattoo's on any of these roles.
RESIDENTS:
We are looking for a wide range of people to portray individuals living in an urban area. The director is particularly interested in:
• Weathered, lived-in faces
• Rugged, natural, unpolished looks
• Character faces and distinctive features
• Longer or grown-out hair, facial hair, or naturally unstyled hair
• People comfortable appearing without polished hair or makeup
• A wide range of ages, body types, and ethnicities
• Authentic, everyday looks rather than overly styled or camera-ready appearances
This season takes place during winter, and this particular scene will be filmed outside. You must be comfortable working outdoors and being dressed in worn, layered and weathered wardrobe appropriate for the scene.

(you will not be considered if you do not fill out the casting form also so complete that first)
IF YOU ARE INTERESTED AND FULLY AVAILABLE:

Your photo MUST:
• Show you HEAD TO TOE
• Be taken in front of a plain wall or uncluttered background
• Be of YOU ONLY — no other people
• Have NO hats or sunglasses
• Be taken by someone else if possible — please do not send a mirror selfie
If submitting for the RESIDENTS roles:
• Show a neutral expression — do not smile
• Have any tattoos on your arms or legs covered for the photo
• If you have longer hair, WEAR YOUR HAIR DOWN. Do not pull it back.
• WOMEN: Please do not wear makeup in your submission photo.
I would also recommend clothes are not bright, bold, or super nice to sell yourself for these parts. No fancy Jewelry on either.
If Submitting for City Workers, Police, or Bureau Picks:
Please just make sure the photos of you suitable for the director to view. How you appear in your photos is how they have to imagine you in these roles.
Please make sure the photo accurately represents what you currently look like, as these photos will be submitted directly to the director.
